The name of the shrine is said to mean "sharp swords and arrows that cut stones". Around the shrine, there is a temple town with many shops and fortune-telling stalls, making it a fun spot for sightseeing. The shopping street is lined with pickles, sweets, dumplings, and mochi, among which oden is popular and is available at many restaurants.

The shrine has no worship hall and is directly connected to the main shrine. The corridor between the main shrine and the offering place has a roof, and there is another roof on top of it, making it a rare arcade-style shrine.

Inside the shrine, there is a spiritual pond with many turtles that make you think, "It was a turtle!" The praying turtles, made of pottery, can hold your wishes inside their bellies.
